How do I play Omni Merge?

Swipe up, down, left, or right to push all balls on the 4×4 grid in that direction. When two identical balls collide, they merge into the next tier and your score increases. A new ball spawns after each swipe. On Mac, you can use the trackpad (2-finger swipe) or the arrow keys. The game ends when the grid is completely full and no more merges are possible.

What are the 15 ball tiers?

Each merge doubles the value and unlocks the next tier. There are 15 named tiers in total:

Balls from Golden (2,048) onwards glow with a golden halo and sparkle effects. There is no hard cap — you can keep merging beyond Inferno.

How do I switch skin packs?

All 3 skin packs are included free with Omni Merge:

• Classic: 15 balls with unique gradient colors, no accessories
• Gentleman: All 15 balls wearing a top hat
• The Others: 15 characters with exclusive accessories (crown, santa hat, devil horns, eye patch…)

Browse the Skins section from the home screen to switch between packs at any time.

How does the undo system work?

You get a limited number of undos per game to reverse a bad swipe and restore the previous board state. The undo button is located on the game screen. Use your undos strategically — they don't reset until you start a new game and can be the difference between a good and a great score.

How does the AI hint work?

When you're stuck, tap the lightbulb hint button on the game screen. An Expectimax AI algorithm analyzes the current board and suggests the optimal direction to swipe. You start each game with free hints. Need more? Watch a short rewarded ad to earn additional hints. The hint highlights the recommended direction with an animated arrow on the board.

What is the combo multiplier?

When a single swipe triggers multiple merges at once, you earn a combo multiplier! The total score gained from that swipe is multiplied by the number of merges:

• 2 merges in one swipe = score ×2
• 3 merges in one swipe = score ×3
• 4 merges in one swipe = score ×4

For example, if a swipe creates 3 merges worth 8 + 16 + 32 = 56 pts, you actually earn 56 × 3 = 168 pts! A "×N COMBO!" label appears on the board when this happens. Try to set up the board so that one swipe triggers as many merges as possible.

How do I restore my purchases?

If you've previously purchased the "Remove Ads" option and need to restore it (for example, after reinstalling the app or switching devices), go to Settings and tap "Restore Purchases." Your purchase is linked to your Apple ID and will be restored automatically.

What strategy should I use?

Here are some tips to get a high score:

• Corner strategy: Keep your highest-value ball in a corner and build around it
• One direction first: Focus on swiping in one or two directions to keep tiles organized
• Don't panic: Even when the board looks full, a well-placed swipe can open space
• Save your undos: Use undos only when truly necessary — not just to explore options
• Set up combos: Arrange same-tier balls so one swipe triggers multiple merges — combo multipliers are the fastest way to boost your score
• Use the next ball preview: A small preview shows which ball will spawn next — plan your swipe around it
• Ask the AI for help: If you're stuck, use the hint button to let the AI suggest the best move — save your hints for critical moments

How do I remove ads?

You can remove all ads from Omni Merge by purchasing the "Remove Ads" option available in the Settings screen. This is a one-time purchase ($1.99) that permanently removes all interstitial ads.

Does my score sync across devices?

Yes. Omni Merge uses iCloud to sync your best score automatically across all your Apple devices. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID on all devices and that iCloud is enabled for the app.

How does Game Center work?

Your best score is submitted automatically to Game Center after each game. You can view the global leaderboard to see how your score compares to players worldwide. Make sure Game Center is enabled in your device settings.

The game crashes or has performance issues. What should I do?

If you're experiencing crashes or performance problems, try these troubleshooting steps:

• Close and restart the Omni Merge app
• Make sure your device is running the latest version of iOS
• Check the App Store for any available app updates
• Restart your iPhone, iPad, or Mac
• If the issue persists, delete and reinstall the app (your purchases can be restored via Settings > Restore Purchases)
